Menu

A menu is a curated list of items offered in a restaurant. More generally, a menu is any list of options that has been thoughtfully designed and displayed, like the menu on a website.

A menu is a kind of interface between the diner and the kitchen. It sets the tone for the interaction, describes what choices are available, and ensures that customers order something that the kitchen has the stocks and skills to deliver. A good menu offers a rich variety of options without becoming so cluttered it becomes overwhelming.

Can you create a menu that improves your “customer interface,” whatever that might be? How can you set the right tone for interaction? How might you create the right mix of variety and simplicity to deliver a great experience?
