Gauntlet

There are times in life where the road ahead is fraught with trials and tribulations. Your life feels like an obstacle course or a minefield. What’s next? You’re running a gauntlet. In ancient times, running the gauntlet was a trial or form of punishment where a person was forced to run between two lines of people and suffer a pummeling with sticks or stones. The faster you could get through it, the less it hurt.

Sometimes dealing with a large company, or the government, requires a long, difficult, and bureaucratic process that feels like a gauntlet.

Sometimes there’s no way around it, the only way out is to go through it as quickly as you can?

Are you facing a gauntlet? Are you running a gauntlet right now? Do you absolutely need to do it? If the answer is yes, how can you get through it as quickly as possible?
