Tree

A tree is a powerful metaphor for life: Nourished by the sun, rain, and soil, rooted in the ground but reaching for the sky. The tree of life is a basic archetype in philosophies, mythologies, and religions around the world.

Trees play a major role in real life as well as mythology. They are the yin to our yang, breathing in the carbon dioxide we exhale and breathing out fresh oxygen.

The roots of the tree can be origins, foundations, the past; the trunk of the tree is its center, its core; branches and leaves stand for movement, reaching out, new growth; the fruits of the tree represent outcomes, results, the fruits of your labor.

What is the central tree in your situation? What are its roots, trunk, branches, leaves and fruits? What does that mean to you?
