Daily habits and routines make life comfortable and predictable, and most of the time they are sufficient for keeping things on track. But sometimes it’s necessary to look at what’s happening under the surface: a deep dive.
Clear your calendar. Make time for thoughtful reflection. A deep dive is exploratory. You dive in with questions, not answers. You don’t know in advance what you will find. But it’s a chance to discover emotional and psychological currents and patterns, explore life’s mysteries, and maybe even find treasure.
As you finish your dive, come up slowly. Take your time and process your insights. Return with treasure, insights, new ideas and perspectives.
What matters most to you? Why have you arranged your life and work in the way that you have? What do you really want? What’s stopping you?
